Willowdale Chapel is a nondenominational church founded in 1956. From our humble roots, we've grown to be a thriving body of 1,500 people. Today we are one church in two locations, with campuses in Kennett Square and Jennersville. We're passionate about Jesus and his Gospel, which offers the grace we all need every day. Whether they're longtime followers of Christ or just trying to figure it out for the first time, we love meeting people where they are and helping them grow in their faith.

Our Ministries

We have all the core ministries that most churches have — children, youth and adult small groups — along with some "specialty" ministries that meet particular needs we sometimes face. Three of those — Celebrate Recovery, Re|engage (marriage) and Special Needs — offer distinctive help for some during the biggest challenges of their lives.

God intends to make all things new. That's why he sends us into the world with a gospel that touches—and begins to transform—all of life. Thus our Outreach Ministries are built on three pillars: Gospel Proclamation, Serving our Neighbors and Advocating for the Vulnerable. We organize around these key priorities to give full expression to God's love for the world.

ABOUT OUR GIVING

Willowdale is funded 100% by its people, from those who give sparingly to those who give 10% or more of their incomes. We don’t have an endowment; we don’t have a few wealthy supporters funding everything. It takes all of us, really–to make our ministry thrive. For the sake of skeptics and unbelievers, we don’t pass offering plates on Sundays, but we do count on everyone who calls Willowdale their church to give faithfully.

Your donations fund all our ministries, personnel, church buildings and operations as well as provide financial support for our local and global partners and missionaries.

Stock Gifts

Giving appreciate stock vs cash could help you save money on taxes. Did you know that by donating shares of appreciated stock you may be able to deduct the current full market value of such shares while paying nothing on the appreciated amount? Contact Tammy Sauer for details.

Legacy Gifts

Consider including Willowdale Chapel in your will, a charitable remainder trust, or other planned gifts. By naming Willowdale as a beneficiary of your savings, investment, or retirement accounts, you can make a meaningful future gift. Qualified Charitable Distribution

If you are obligated to take Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) from your IRA or 401k accounts, using a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) as your church donation or tithe reduces your overall taxable income from the RMD. Talk to your financial advisory for more information.
