What brings men together?

We all remember what it was like to play on a team. Whether it was the sports field, the concert hall or just the work crew. There is something powerful that unites us when we stand together. Researchers say that the average American man rarely makes a real friend after age 35. That is not good enough for the church and it is not good enough at Willowdale. We believe that God is calling men to stand together and follow Christ; offering Godly influence in their homes, their vocations and their communities.

This can't happen at a sports bar, a fitness center or even a cool, vibey concert venue. This can only happen in a church. Let's do this together!

At Willowdale, we have various groups of guys who get together regularly to build friendships, study the Bible, discuss important life issues, and hold each other accountable to following Christ. Some groups meet in the morning before work, others in the evening or on a weekend. We also have groups specifically designed for guys dealing with addiction and recovery.

We're all busy and have a lot of demands on our time, but spending an hour once a week or twice a month, with a group of guys, can keep you grounded and growing.
