Life is Better in Community

Small groups form the backbone of Willowdale, and we want nothing more than for everyone to connect with one. It's in community that we grow together and experience the fullness of life.

In community, we can experience the essential ingredients that enable us to grow in a relationship with God. Those ingredients are:

Truth + Grace + Time = Transformation

Truth: They say, "the truth is your friend," and the Bible gives us a sufficient basis of truth to apply to all of our lives. So we look to God's word for truth and we look to each other to help us apply it to life.

Grace: Groups provide us the unique opportunity to create environments where our love, support and encouragement for one another provide a platform that enable our hearts to hear God's truth.

Time: The good news is that grace and truth can ignite with great energy for our faith. Yet, it is consistency over time that produces depth. In groups, we can build the kinds of friendships that meet the unique needs of unique seasons of our life and even extend beyond those seasons to life long camraderie.
